News Release - NCAMC Swears In A New President

North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks Swears in a New President
Melody Schuler, CMC, MMC, was sworn in as President of the NCAMC on August 21, 2020 during the Associations Annual Conference. Melody is currently the Town Clerk/Assistant to the Town Manager for the Town of Waxhaw.
Melody has been a clerk for a total of nine years, serving 3 years as deputy clerk and 6 years as clerk. She served in other job roles before starting her career for the Town of Waxhaw in 2014. Melody said her desire to be a clerk comes from her calling to help make a difference in her community. She enjoys serving others and learning something new every day.
During her time as a member of the North Carolina Association of Municipal Clerks she has served on multiple committees including being the chair of the Website Committee and Program and Education Committee. She has also served on the NCAMC Board of Directors.
When Melody is not serving as an essential member in her community, she enjoys driving her Mazda Miata and feeling her troubles melt away!
